This cruise was advertised as a 5 day CARIBBEAN cruise. In fact it turned out to be a ONE DAY Caribbean cruise in Cozumel from 8am to 3.30 pm. The rest was a Gulf of Mexico cruise. ONE DAY IN Progreso. A run down tourist trap surrounded by insect infested swamps and muddy sea water. Not Caribbean. Got the trip to Chicheniza from a dockside vendor for half the price wanted by the ship.

The ship itself was shabby with dirty stained windows that were never cleaned. A toddler defecated on the deck and I timed it 15 mins before a crew member came to clean up the mess.

The on board entertainment sucked with the emphasis on booze and earsplitting DJ hip hop and rap music. The cruise director, Gumbie's, sole job was to get as many people sozzled in a short a time as possible. Pool side "entertainment" was focused on pushing rum and tequila by the said Gumbie who I found irritating and ingratiating..
