Sail Date: Feb 2014

We booked a back to back on the Allure in February. Be Aware-if you are looking for a cruise with less children then don't book the Presidents Birthday week-New York and Boston have the whole week off

and there were 2,000 kids on the cruise!!! Can you imagine? We will never make that mistake again!! but despite this we still enjoyed ourselves very much. Entertainment is excellent-I don't know if any cruiseline beside Disney can compete. Chicago was good (not great)-Blue Planet (we didn't like at all-music does not match the motion-it's like cirque) but comedy club was fabulous, and the headliner shows were terrific.

Food we ate in the dining room every night except one was good. Service the first week was better the first week than the second (we changed waiters and tables) We ate at the steakhouse once each week and only because it was included in our package and it was EXCELLENT!!! Windjammer for lunch was fair and some days we ate at the Park Café. Same for breakfast-Windjammer,Park Café,or Johnny Rockets-All fine. There was plenty of fighting over pool chairs, yet there are plenty of options on this ship. One beach pool where the water comes up to your chair (salt water) and two freshwater pools plus a huge childrens area great if you have babies or young children. There is plenty going on all day and something for everyone to do whether you are in a port or not. It's hard to not have a good time on this ship-but once is enough for us-Chicago has a five year contract and Blue Planet is the same and so is the ice show. We talked to many people who keep coming back on the same ship-but for us-people who go to all the shows,

Cabin Review

Cabin was very nice and cabin steward was great. We like to be at the back end of the shipWe never felt like the ship was even moving
