This was a different type of cruise experience - our first time on NCL. Overall, it was a good cruise experience and we’ll cruise with NCL again.

As seasoned Carnival Cruisers (Platinum members), our experience in a “nut shell” is as follows:

The NCL SPIRIT is an older, smaller ship. Overall the ship is clean and well maintained. Our cabin and balcony were - condensed in size compared to other cruise ships we’ve been aboard.

Cabin Review

Close quarters in the entire cabin, about 18" of space between foot of bed and the cabin wall, on the left side of the bed & the bathroom wall the space was about 12". The bathroom set-up is very poor, small sliding door between the commode & the sink, creating a very tight WC. Shower area was close but OK. Balcony area was tight to move around on less than 12" between the deck chairs & the balcony glass railing.
