This is our 8th Cruise and not all with the same cruise line. We like to try different ones. This was our second time on a Carnival Cruise.

We do we expect perfection but this has to be one of the worst cruises for food we've ever had. The buffet was always specialty type cuisine i.e. Caribbean fare or something of that nature. No comfort food like fried chicken and mashed potatoes. Only three of the four pool eateries were open and they were all the same...guy's burgers, pizza or burritos every day. On our sea days it was awfully hard to get even close to them as the lines were so long.

We were seated at a table for ten in the dining room. Six was the most to ever show up and one evening we were all alone at that huge table. It was very uncomfortable. In the dining room the food was NEVER hot, even when we sent it back. Two of us at our table ordered rib eye's both the same way, medium well and what we got were two different steaks. One for sure was a rib eye and the other looked like a skirt steak. And both were luke warm. We also thought all of the food lacked seasoning. Even the desserts lacked flavor. I had carrot cake one night and it was tasteless. I was very surprised.

Cabin Review

Typically sized for an inside cabin. ALWAY'S clean!
