We were on the 2.22.14 sailing of the Getaway. This was her 3rd sailing from Miami to the Eastern Caribbean. This trip was in celebration of our 40th Anniversary and had been planned for a year thus our anticipation for a great and memorable vacation was very high. NCL and the Getaway did not disappoint!! From the moment we stepped into the NCL terminal to the moment we stepped off the ship everything EXCEEDED our expectations!!!!! Every single staff member we encountered was professional, friendly and always went out of their way to make us feel special. A great testament to the training and operations of NCL.

Complimentary and Specialty dining venues were beautiful and foods exceptional. We absolutely loved the outdoor dining options. The weather was glorious and we ate outside whenever possible. We much preferred the Free Style Dining to the traditional set dining times!!! Much more comfortable and relaxing!!

Entertainment as good as anything we have seen in Las Vegas. So many activities that it is impossible to do them all but there is definitely something for everyone regardless of age and interests. Read more
