I read the 1% review, and he had to be Italian. This was the worst trip ever. The staff (with the exception of our room aide and the staff of the Taurus Restaurant)) did not smile once until two days before we returned. Not one staff member was interested in helping you unless you spoke Italian.

Got seated next to some wonderful English speaking people at dinner in the Taurus lounge which made the whole trip. They were funny, easy to be with and the staff in Taurus Restaurant were wonderful too. Even the food in Taurus was ok, not great but ok.

The food in the buffett was awful. By the time you were able to get seated, the food was cold. They would shut sections down and make you run circles to find the next section open. There was no fluidity to the way it was run, and seeing wait staff with trays walking around when there were so many dirty tables. We often had to clean tables ourselves just to sit and eat our luke warm food. Also they filled the ice cream machines for lunch and then when they closed a section down, instead of leaving the ice cream machines up and running, they scooped up all the ice cream and threw it away. This was a very hot cruise and leaving them on would have saved money rather than seeing it being poured down the drain. (at least I am assuming they threw it away, after scooping it into buckets that did not look sanitary enough to save).

Cabin Review

Our room was great as was the guy that cleaned it. He always had a smile on his face and was willing to do what he could to make our cruise a little happier but we could see his hands were tied. It took me three days to convince room service that the bottle of wine that was delivered to my room needed a cork screw, as they kept insisting that it was champagne and the cork would just pop off. After persistence, I got my corkscrew and drank my wine. (how do you not know the difference between champagne and red wine.)
