We have done 10+ cruise with HA. All of these have been on the smaller ships, around 1,200 passengers. The Eurodam was at full capacity of 2,100 for our cruise. We were disappointed almost every meal in the Lido, we spent so much time waiting in line for food, and then again to get a drink. If you got your food first, it was cold by the time coffee was retrieved. If you got coffee first, it was cold by the time you sat down with food. Most upsetting was that all food stations were not open at the busiest times for dining. This is an HA issue, need more staff to open more stations. The coffee makers were always broken on one side or the other and it looked like they should have been replaced months ago, buttons worn and tape over many of them. It appears to me they have even less staff and stations to feed 2,100 than to feed the 1,200 we usually cruise with. If you wanted to go to a movie, we had to arrive half hour prior to movie beginning as the theater was too small for as many as were on the ship. Most every movie, guests had to leave, even arriving 15 minutes prior, all seats were taken. Funniest thing was when we had breakfast delivered to the room, they did not have enough insulated pitchers for coffee so they used water pitchers with aluminum foil over them, I thought I was on a Carnival Cruise for a moment. Most upsetting and stressful cruise, Eurodam, NEVER again. We cruised with our older children and they had done their first cruise with HA 6 years earlier on the VEENDAM, loved every minute of that cruise, this one was the cruise from hell for them. Their expectations were so high and were shot down every day as the madness continued. Shore Excursion on Jamaica was so disorganized we only got to do 2 of the 3 things we were scheduled to do, just one bad experience after another. I could add more disappointing issues but I am certain you have heard enough. Just enjoy HA, BUT on the smaller ships. BTW, when boarding in Ft Lauderdale, we had to check in by room numbers, odd in one line even in another. We were separated from our children due to this and when we ask the HA staff at the photo area if we could join our children for a picture with them, they replied, "NO, go to that line!!" This did not start our cruise with a pleasant experience.

Cabin Review

Loveseat in the room had 5 throw pillows, no place to set with all that, so we threw them on the floor each day, taking up space to walk. Who needs 5 throw pillows to collect dust and germs?????. There is just no place to stack or hide 5 pillows!!!!! Would have preferred 2 chairs instead and no throw pillows. No plug in bathroom for husband's razor, had to shave in the living" area. At the end of the cruise they emailed our survey to us to save paper but yet they deliver half dozen sheets each days with spa advertisements??
