The Sunshine is a beautiful ship. It has one huge problem however. When they refurbed the ship, they increased the number of guests, but did not increase the public spaces. Everywhere you went, it was CROWDED! The main theatre holds 1200 passengers, but there were 3006 onboard!! Two shows a night times 1200 equals 2400 not 3006!! The first night we got to the theatre approx 15 minutes early, and there were NO seats available! After that we went 45 minutes early and stood in line to get a seat!

All of the public areas were very crowded. Example: the waiting line for the "Guys" hamburger (which by the way is wonderful) is in the passageway to the buffet. (a passageway of only 6 feet wide with people waiting in line and people trying to get by in both directions with food in hand!)

The good sides however: The room was great with an excellent steward. The dining room food was very good. Our waiter was the absolute BEST waiter I have ever had on a ship (and this was my 23rd cruise)!

Cabin Review

Cabin was great. Plenty of room for three people. Our steward was superb.
