This was my wife and I's honeymoon and first cruise and it was amazing. Priceline gave us a hotel discount and we stayed right downtown near the aquarium, which looked amazing and we instantly decided we should come back with the kids, Baltimore is a great downtown.

Our first night on the ship we went to Davids Steakhouse the first night and were treated to a complimentary bottle of wine with one of the most amazing meals I've had in my life. I felt like I was in a movie or something with how the food was artfully presented. The rest of the cruise we ate in the Normandy restaurant where we tended to order at least 3 appetizers to sample the fares that are much fancier then what shows up in our household. The portions do seem small but the staff always encouraged us to order whatever and however much of whatever we wanted. There is always the buffet to select from as well, and lines were never really that bad at any time to get the food. My wife and I didn't try the pizza till the last day when it was the only thing left open and were blown away at some of the best hand tossed pizza we've ever had. The decor of the ship is out of this world, in some of the pictures we had seen it appeared as though it might be tacky but it really wasn't. This is after all a ship so the surroundings were just extra treatments that let us know we were on some serious vacationing. There are lots of windows and we never felt claustrophobic or trapped which my wife was a little worried about.

As it was our honeymoon we booked a room at the aft of the ship, cabin 4232, standard 185 sq ft. layout with extended balcony. We were right near the flag but they only fly it while in port so it never bothered us really, Cabin service was amazing, our steward was seen very frequently and always greeted us by name with a smile. We took a gel air freshener for the bathroom but it wasn't really smelly to begin with, it could have been. Our bed was nice and firm and the blankets comfortable. There really wasn't much noise except for the sound of the slamming door to the balcony from our neighbors. Shower water pressure was good and the hot never ran out.
