My wife, adult daughter and I just returned from a great 3 day getaway to Nassau on the Carnival Sensation from Port Canaveral. Our boat left at 4pm but we arrived early around 1:30 pm on a Thursday 02/20/14. We arrived pulled up the curb to the porters to have our bags checked in. We had 3 checked bags and tipped the guys $10. (fair) Our bags were already labeled with our pre printed tags from our online check in. We then drove just around the corner to the parking garage. Parking was $60 for 3 nights. The garage is right next to the boat. It was a short walk the line to check in with passport and 1 check in bag loaded with 1 750 ml bottle of wine each. (this will save you alot of money and is allowed) from Garage to boat was only about 20 min.

The boat is very old with old Club 54 decor but they keep it very clean. Everything works no dents no holes just 80's decor.

Our boat departed at 4pm so we had to be on deck for the emergency escape drills at 3:30pm. That was only 20 min and you NO LONGER have to walk around with your life vest so as soon as the drill if over you can start the party/vacation.

Cabin Review

The room was perfect. We chose not to upgrade because on a 3 day cruise we are never in the room except to change clothes and sleep. It was very clean.
