After swearing off cruising following a not so good cruise experience a couple decades ago my wife and I were pleasantly surprised (delighted) that our Carnival experience was nothing short of excellent! We passed on our annual 2 weeks in Hawaii to go on this cruise with family and from our house (wife and son 15 years old) two thumbs way up is the unanimous verdict on for the Conquest cruise.

The most impressive was how we were consistently greeted and treated by the Carnival staff aboard the ship. From top to bottom the Carnival team was very pleasant and attentive to our every comfort. They seemed to really enjoy their work in creating a great vacation for us.

Fifteen family members (some quite extended) spanning 3 generations all had a wonderful experience on the cruise. Each family group within the traveling bunch had different goals for activities and attractions both on and off the ship. We did our own separate things during the day and came together most evenings for dinner and late night activities. There always seemed to be something for for everyone ...all the time! My wife remarked that she could go outside the room, straight ahead, to the right or to the left at any time of the day and could find something fun just a few steps away. Read more
