Sail Date: Feb 2014

My lady Linda and I stayed in Miami Friday Night (Feb 7th) at the La Quinta. Not the greatest location next to the airport, but with free shuttle from the air port to the hotel, and free shuttle from the hotel to the cruse port, I could live with it.

Saturday morning we embarked (got there at 10, was on by 11 or 11:30) and explored the ship while waiting for the room to be ready. There are 5 free dining areas:

The 3 main dining areas, Taste and Savor on deck 6, and the Tropicana room on deck 7. There is the buffet on deck 15, called the Garden Cafe. On deck 16 there is the Flamingo Grill. We had lunch at the Flamingo Grill. It seemed to be heavy on the fried stuff (Plaintains, etc), but then so is the local cuban restaurant in my neighborhood here in Denver. The Tres Leches cake at the Flamingo Grill was AWESOME!

Cabin Review

The cabin was an inside cabin, with lots of nooks and crannies for storage (we did not even use them all!). The shower was roomy, and the bathroom was not cramped.
