My wife and I took the ship to Haiti and Jamaca for 5 nights, 6 days. We have cruised with Carnaval and RCL. Rcl is still the better boat, but not by much. We were in cabin 7388 with a balcony. Boarding was OK a little wait but that's to be expected. Debarcation was delayed hours because of US Customs. Cabin was nice but beds were very old it felt like you were sleeping in a hamock, matress worn out.
Windjamer was not very good the first night but with RCL the food gets better every day and it did by the last day it was GREAT. My time dining, we had a NY strip steak and couldn't eat it. Don't think they know how to cook steak. All other food was good. GREAT show by a band SAVANA JACK, I'm sure you'll hear more of them. Saturday night fever was the theatrical production it was good. Up was another show like circus de sole it was good. Pools were freezing about 50 degrees. Hot tubs were boiling about 104 degrees. Boat was clean crew was OK not as good as other RCL crews. The Carnaval Breeze was better and cheaper. We love RCL but they're slipping.
This is a balcony cabin near the rear of the boat on the starboard side. Cabin was nice but beds were very old it felt like you were sleeping in a hamock, mattress worn out. Clean and bright.
