My friends and I were in the Glory for the Feb2nd cruise.....we had a gang of 23 of all shapes and sizes going there to get away from this weather in Michigan...and that we did...we had fantastic weather and for a week it was so nice to get away from snow and sub zero temps....Getting on the ship took no time at all....we were all up on the Lido deck within an hr.....Dinner that night was chateaubriand and it was great...I wish I could say the same about our servers in the main dining room.....after the first night it just got worse and worse.....we felt no connection with them whatsoever....SO different from our first cruise on the Victory last year when it was terrific service...I MISS YOU WAYANS......these 3 guys seemed like they had never worked there before....We were not fond of the new menu.... at all......which made things worse because I don't think they were either......forgotten orders..asking for things more than once..horrible steak and things that were not hot ..the dessert was delicious every night...that i have to say was really good........the elegant nights were fine...the rest were not enjoyable.....I really wanted to see a menu for the night during the day by the end of the trip so I could get a Guy's burger at 4 pm. if things looked unappetizing....that never happened..it wasnt posted......although the Guy's Burger Joint is a good addition.....we loved it.......also the burrito bar was muy bueno.....fresh and hot......unlike the buffet...which seemed like Golden Corral.....Chicken nuggets...fish sticks and deep fried macaroni and cheese.....REALLY????? Anyway...the food aside...the ship was fun....our room stewie Richard was too notch.....we wanted for nothing...very attentive...you could bounce a quarter off the bed...nice man.....I have to mention Christopher the magician too.....nice kid and we are still wondering how he did the tricks!!!! He was a fun addition to dinner.....he needs a raise!!!!!! Everyone was great staff wise......except for the bartender/prison warden in the Bar Blue during our Meet and Greet......a guest asked her behind the bar what drinks were included and she curtly Answered..".ask your host."...a young man serving the drinks was standing next to her filling his tray with the drinks and started telling her and the barwarden told him to "SHUT UP"......SHE Was awful ......never got her name since I heard this after we had vacated her airspace......and from the minute I walked in to set up I tried to stay OUT of her way since I detected her tude.......rude woman......we missed a port due to wind but Belize...Grand Cayman and Cozumel were fun places to explore...the only excursion we had planned was on the missed port Roatan......other than that had a great time with friends and friends......a nice getaway.....
