Sail Date: Feb 2014

We cruised with 7 women, all family and had such a great time on the Liberty of the Seas. This was my 17th cruise, others with me had a few cruises under their belt and three of them had not cruise before.

Embarcation was a breeze, no problems at all.

The ship is impressive, with as large of a ship as the Liberty is you would think there would be lines everywhere but we did not find this to be the case. I love the open promenade area and the shops did a great job changing merchandise so that you had lots to browse each night. The parties in the promenade area were great as well. We saw a few of the characters from DreamWorks and they really did a fantastic job making sure they spent time with all guests.

Cabin Review

We had cabin 8600, 8602 and 8603 and we had the room steward open the walls between the rooms to make one large balcony. The standard balcony on this room was the largest by far we have ever had, amazing! Probably 8' by 10'. The dividers slid back to open between balconies versus other ships where they swing out, blocking part of your view. Great design of a cabin would book in a heartbeat again.
