We price shopped for this cruise and were pleased with the deal we got - not having sailed with Celebrity in the past. We booked months in advance.
Older crowd. Few kids and virtually no teens. Many cruisers with 25+ cruises under their belts. We were all happy to be escaping the north. Numerous snow escapees on the ship - all conversations began with "where ya from, and how crappy has your winter been?"
Almost perfect weather, a bit of an easterly wind at the start, but typical for this time of year. Service was as advertised, but not a huge step above RCCL. I'll admit it was nice to grab all the towels you want, all the time. Each public head was manned and cleaned continuously. The ship overall is spotless, as to be expected with a new vessel.
Starboard side, just forward to midships - nice ride and quiet. Nicely appointed cabin. Looked over the lifeboat, one deck above the main deck . Largest cabin we've been in so far in our six cruises, with roomy head and shower.
