Our Family Birthday Cruise on the Eclipse was a fabulous trip. Embarkation was really nice, everyone was so helpful and friendly. From the time we dropped our luggage off with the baggage handlers to the time we picked up our bags at the end of the trip, we were VERY PLEASED with the Celebrity experience.

We had a party of 10 with 3 birthdays during the cruise and it was ALL done right. The cabin was 8124 and it was more then we expected. Large and comfortable, a bed that was perfect for two, lots of storage, bags fit under the bed and hangers in the spacious closet. The bathroom was really nice, big mirror, plenty of space for personals and a shower that was larger then we expected. First thing was to ask our room steward (Hector) to remove all the contents of the refrigerator. We kept ice, water and sodas because we didn't spend much time in the cabin, there was ALWAYS something going on around the ship. Discovery was the agenda of the day. We met the rest of our party of 10 in the "Sky Lounge" on the 15th deck and it was wonderful. 180 degrees of glass, the whole harbor was the front yard of our cruise. Cocktails on a lounge chair was a most relaxing moment, worries were gone and smiles were abound among our party. Gambling, hit the slots during the first night, they seemed to be loose. Our party cleared $500.00 on "Wheel of Fortune". The Martini Bar was the gathering place before dinner and I don't think there was a Martini NOT tasted during the trip. Our dinners in the Moonlight Sonata were the BEST with the BEST waiters (Wilson and his attentive assistant Jonny), they were there for US. . . The Wine Steward was Great, very knowledgeable and helpful in every aspect of our wine desires. Shore excursions were right for everyone. We swam with Dolphins, Turtles, Fish of all species and even snorkeled on a Coral Reef. Something that we wouldn't do at HOME.

I could go on and on but I won't. You get the idea of how much we enjoyed our trip on Celebrity Eclipse. If you don't go, you won't know. . . Would I go again, you bet and our party of 10 is in agreement that Celebrity is the way to go. . . Happy Sailing WHEN you decide to GO. . .

Cabin Review

Fabulous cabin, great bed, lots of storage, bags fit under the bed, plenty of closet space, bathroom was bigger then expected with a great shower. The bed was turned down twice a day and the room steward was there for every request. Port, Starboard, it doesn't matter, you'll always have a great view.
