We flew into IAH from Los Angeles on Saturday and embarked upon our 22nd cruise with Princess. We were not disappointed! There was a bit of a delay in boarding our transfer coach, but patience is a virtue that many should adopt to make their experience wonderful.

Upon arrival at the port terminal we again experienced a short delay due to the cleaning efforts being done on CP. It was a cold day with a breeze and the terminal is small, so remaining on the warm bus was a great decision by the welcoming staff. It was a rapid process through the signing in, and a few slow downs actually boarding as the ship's crew processed us aboard. The delayed embarkation caused a big rush for the ship, but what else could one expect after the delay for a clean ship. It was worth it because a clean ship is a healthy ship and we did not have the problems others experienced before and after this week. We got underway on time, after a tricky departure from the dock due to lighted pilings very close for a ship of this size. The bridge crew was awesome in their efforts!

The first day at sea was normal as we chased the warmer weather. Our first port was Cozumel, where we took the ship sponsored tour to the Mayan Ruins of Tulum. This is a must do excursion. The next port of call was Roatan where did not do a tour, but rather we enjoyed the cleanliness and of the shopping area just a short walk for the pier. The next port of call was Belize, where we experienced another Princess sponsored trip to the Mayan ruins of Lamanai. Awesome again, and the boat ride to and from was off the hook fantastic!!! This is a must do adventure, and climb the temple, it is worth it!

Cabin Review

Great room. Clean, neat and well taken care of by room steward.
