Just returned from our 2nd cruise - this one was on the Jewel and the previous cruise was on Carnival Spirit. What a massive disappointment!!

According to fellow diners who WERE regular P&O cruisers, and from our experience, the bean counters have destroyed the experience by cutting back on so many of the things that make cruising enjoyable.

We found the quality of the food in the buffet very poor, the cost of a the 'extras' excessive, the level of service to cabins below standard (one service a day), free food during the day outside of meal hours is no longer available. Other ships provide free food options and a large choice in the buffets. Read more
