First off, I'd like to thank the previous reviewers for helping to prepare my girlfriend and me for this cruise. This was the first cruise for both of us, and reading the reviews (EVERY WEEK) was a great addition to our preparation.

Ok, so we were late with registering for the Sea Pass on-line so we had to do it at the port. This was no problem. Getting on the ship went very quickly. We made it from the airport to our room within 30 minutes. Definitely bring a bathing suit in your carry-on luggage. We had lunch at the Windjammer, changed clothes, then went out to the pool deck to relax. That night we ate in the dining room for dinner. My girlfriend was somewhat disappointed with her meal, but each night after that, the meals were good. We are from NYC, and consider ourselves somewhat snobby when it comes to food, so although we didn't consider the food gourmet, it was good.

Day 2 began in Key West. TONS of shopping in Key West but that's about it. We walked to the southern most point via Duval St. but walked back to the ship via other side streets. It is sad to see an area that has been so devastated by hurricane damage. One house had a sign on it that said, "Help us FEMA, pay our claim." If visiting Key West, stick to Duval St. We got back to the boat pretty early for lunch, then again spent the afternoon relaxing.
