Sailed on January 31 to the Bahamas. Hubby and I live in Central Florida so why not? Two years ago we went on Monarch of the Seas to the Bahamas and missed the port stop in Coco Cay due to high winds. After going this time and getting to visit Coco Cay, I am even more disappointed about not getting to go two years ago! It made the whole cruise worth it! It is gorgeous down there.

We were please with pretty much everything. The entertainment was good, the food was good, and our room was clean and orderly. Yes, sometimes you feel like you are at a cattle call when the food is served, but we had a good time. The midnight buffet seemed better than we have had before. The even showed the Super Bowl for us in the theater and had a nacho and hot dog bar. I thought that was cool. Comedian was not good, magic show was. It was the perfect mix of things to do and down time. The dining room food was not four stars, but lets be realistic on how good food can be when you are serving 2400 people. The menus were really dirty and need to be re-printed. The service was adequate, but didn't ruin our experience or anything. We are very low maintenance people and go with the flow. We played shuffleboard, ping pong, did the rock wall, ate about 13 ice cream cones, people watched, etc. Thought it was a nice little getaway.
