There are enough reviews that detail the physical aspects of this cruise ship so I'll cut straight to the essentials.

The very good bits were: attitude and attentiveness of staff, particularly our cabin steward and our dining room staff. Almost all other staff seemed to be pleased to be doing their jobs and smiles were easy to come by. Entertainment was usually of a high standard. Beds were very comfortable. Food in all the locations we tried was very good with an interesting range and variety, although I have eaten at better restaurants on shore on occasion.

The less good bits were: the atrium that ran from Deck 3 to Deck 14 looked spectacular but sound traveled the entire distance. That was fine if you liked whatever music happened to be playing but It was not easy to find quiet places, even in the library where you would expect quiet. Piped music in other areas of the ship was also intrusive at times. The focus on 'extras' that cost money sometimes seemed irritating..

Cabin Review

A centrally located cabin near the computer suite. Handy to lifts and, mostly, not too much problem with noise from the atrium. Excellent cabin staff.
