This is our 4th cruise, the last 2 with my brother and his wife. Up until this last cruise we were very pleased, with this cruise we were disappointed with the booking, dinning area food, the tours off the ship and the entertainment.

My wife called Princess the night before our trip to confirm that all was well to discover our cabin had been changed and we had not been notified and would not have been notified had she not called and therefore our luggage would have been delivered to a cabin two decks below and to a different cabin number than the one we had now been assigned. When she asked why the change she said it was an upgrade. We had a balcony and were told it would be a mini-suit with a couch. We then requested new luggage tags be emailed and we traded them out. Went we arrived to our cabin, no couch. When we inquired about the upgrade. They knew nothing about it and had no idea why there was a room change. They also said both rooms were identical.

We only tried the dinning room 3 times which was enough. My wife and I had early seating at 5:30, my brother ate later because he was with a group from PA, USA. My wife and I are from FL, USA, we simply met up for the cruise. First night we had prime rib with a brown sauce on it which we could not eat because it tasted like pure salt. The waiter saw me scrape it off and brought over another plate without sauce. He came back later and said he tried the sauce and also could not eat it and mentioned it to the chef. I mentioned it to my brother, who ate later, and he said no one at his table had any sauce on their meat. On one formal night they served lobster with jumbo shrimp. I live on the east coast of Florida and shrimp are in our waters. I do know how shrimp are sized. These shrimp were medium at best, not large, not extra large and no where near jumbo. The lobster was not fresh and I could taste it had been frozen. Last time we tried the dinning room they were serving filet mignon. My wife and I both ordered it as well as several around us. When it was served we all looked around at each other and someone said "This doesn't look like filet mignon to me." It didn't to us either. We tried it and had to use our knives to saw through it. It was tough and tasted very much like sirloin. We ate at the buffet that night and most nights. We also discovered that outside of the lobster, the buffet offered a lot of what was served in the dinning area.

Cabin Review

I am small and can only assume that anyone with a large built or a bit over weight do their bathing in the hot tub or pool.
