This was our first cruise ever, we were a little skeptical about taking one at all, but are we ever glad we did! The Royal Princess is beautiful, the staff is lovely and their is no shortage of things to do. You can be as busy or as lazy as you want to be. We were definitely the younger demographic on the ship, but taking a vacation without our kids, that was what we were looking for. I wouldn't take my kids on the Princess cruise as there just isn't enough to keep them excited and I found a majority of the older crowd tended to be quite rude as it was. The outdoor kids club is located in the smoking section of the ship - not very well planned there. The only other downside to the ship was the intense vibration throughout, I was worried about the ship movement before departure, that was nothing compared to the vibration - it was even worse in our room being at the back of the ship, our bed was like a massage chair gone back 24/7. Not sure if that's of the norm, or if we had a wonky piston....

The first day was a bit of a show, but when you've got 3500 people excited to get on board, pack your patience and chill out. The elevators are extremely slow and things are a touch busier on embarkation.

Getting on and off the ship was super easy and quick, zero complaints from us there.

Cabin Review

It was lovely, impecably kept by Gregorio.
