Very pleased with experience.

Sail Date: December 2013
Destination: Western Caribbean
Embarkation: Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)
First time with Celebrity.

Luggage transfer painless, we have had threatening comments from this port in the past by baggage handlers i.e. "I am responsible for your luggage getting to the ship" and this was after a tip had been given. Embarkation from port very quick and pleasant. On board a bit confusing with more direction needed for newbies. Delighted that we were let aboard early and had lunch and use of swimming pool while our rooms were still being prepared. Loved all the food. but particularly the Asian Section [curry to me] at lunchtime and had to drag myself away from it on day 4 after 3 days in a row. Evening fare good, desserts excellent and the waiter, assistant waiter and wine waiter excellent. Table for 2 in the main entrance, but that was OK.

Had the beverage package, part of the 123 offer, would upgrade the next time for a better selection of wines, but otherwise a good deal.

Stateroom care good, beds very comfortable, balcony clean and More furniture comfy.

Missed Cozumel due to mechanical problems and went to Nassau instead which was an opportunity to visit Atlantis as a cruise - booked tour. Well worth the $60 for a 2 hour guided tour which was so convincing with the information and the décor it might leave you wondering if it really was history. We could have stayed for longer in a particular area including the casino, but opted to return to the Constellation on the frequent and well organised buses incl. in the price.

First time to Key West and so glad we didn't miss this. Trolley Bus Tour arranged onboard at a very competitive price. Maybe a 10 minute walk to the trolley with sculptures to see and photograph on the way. We had Kirsten as our driver and very entertaining educator and did the whole tour with her and then when we got back did the tour again at no extra charge getting off at Hemingway's House, which was the highlight of the tour for us, and then walked around for an hour before making our way back to the beginning point by trolley, also incl.

The apologies for the missed port were underwhelming, but for us the Constellation was the destination, with the ports an added incentive, so we were not negatively affected, but a great party was held on deck at about 2200 hrs with free flowing drinks for an hour or 2 with even more incredible food and upbeat music. We are old fogies, but went up on deck to have a look and were so happy to see people dancing and having a good time, children to older adults all mingling. The DJ was outstanding.

Enjoyed the nighttime shows, dancers, singers, comedians.

Had very little to do with customer services, except for booking trips, and they were quite pleasant.

All in all a great trip and would definitely like to repeat. Call me crazy, but I think the Brunch [once this cruise] was OTT with tons of food of all varieties, but where do people put it all? Less
