We will NEVER go on the Carnival Victory again!!!! We'll probably stay totally clear of Carnival Cruise lines!

We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. Our travel agent told us that many cruise ships would give a cabin upgrade for people celebrating important events. NOT Carnival! We also requested a priest so that we could attend religious services everyday. NOT on Carnival! There wasn't even a chapel or prayer room where we could have some quiet time to pray. We had to retreat to our cabin.

The ship was tacky and as outdated as the nasty old 60's music that was always blasting on the ship! From the time we boarded, the obnoxious DJ was blaring the oldies so loudly that every time we had to walk through that area, we literally ran so we could get out of the noise!

Cabin Review

Cabin 8D

Although outdated, the cabin was clean. Curtains had holes and shower curtain had broken hooks. The shower was never hot. :( Plenty of closet and drawer space and cabin was quiet (almost sound-proof). :)NOT crazy about the fluorescent lighting---gives me headaches! Softer lighting would have been appreciated. The cleaning staff were friendly and attentive.
