Sail Date: Jan 2014

We just returned from a very relaxing 5 night cruise aboard the beautiful Ruby Princess. This was our 13th cruise on Princess and 42nd overall. We are a retired couple (68 and 78), currently living in Palm City FL. It was a last minute decision to go and we are so glad we did. We had never gone for just 5 nights and it worked out very well.

We are about 90 minutes away from the port and left home about 10:30am on Saturday, the 18th of Jan. We park at the ParkNFly lot and they shuttle us to the port. It is an excellent place to park and much less than parking at Port Everglades. Board was very quick and we were on the ship and in our cabin by noon.

We had booked an inside guarantee and I was a bit leery of the location we were given. It was perhaps the quietest cabin we have ever had. We were assigned cabin A748 - completely aft on Aloha deck. It was close to the aft elevators and very quiet. There is more than adequate storage in an inside cabin for a 5 night stay. We tried to pack lighter than normal and it worked well.

Cabin Review

The cabin was located as far aft as you can go on the port side of Aloha deck. It was extremely quiet. It is a typical Princess inside cabin-we like the beds as twins and there is more than enough room for everything one would bring on a 5-14 night cruise. We always book an inside guarantee and it works out well.
