Traveled with children

This was our 8th time cruising with out children. We stayed in the holiday inn before the cruise. We did book that from the cruise line and it worked out nicely. The ship was clean. The slides were very entertaining for my 9 y/o twins. I had a problem with the tubes for the one slide. There were far more adults going than kids since we went at an off time. The guys who run the tube slide would have people wait in line for tubes. which that was fine, but he had 10 kid tubes just sitting there because there were still adults waiting for their tubes to go. it was a bit ridiculous. They tried the rock wall but they weren't really strong enough. Wish they had a mini-golf on board.

We stayed in a balcony which was set up brilliantly. Having the shower and toilet separate was great. The huge downfall was the kids club. The kids generally visit the kids club once or twice on our previous cruises. They went on night 4 for the first time for 1 hour. They both came out and said it was the worst night of their lives. Needless to say I spent the next 2 hours getting down to what happened with the manager and cruise director. They did not help the situation. I would not bring my child to that kids club. You will be disappointed and so will your child.

the cruise director was not a nice person. the blue man group was excellent, but don't waste your time on the other 2 shows. Disembarkation was a very, very long line. it stretched from the stairs all the way into the casino ans around.
