Background: This is our 4th NCL cruise, 2x Epic and POA. We traveled with our 20 something kids and had a balcony and 2 inside rooms. We precruise we stayed at Drury Inn, which I would highly recommend.

The rooms were large, included a decent breakfast, and snack and drink from 5:30-7 PM. It was conveniently located near the french quarter. We took a taxi from the airport to the hotel which was $74 before tip for 5 passengers. To the port from the hotel it was $35.00 (for a 5 minute ride!)

Embarkation: arrived at terminal before 11 am and was on the ship by 11:30. Read more
