I must totally agree with the previous writer's experiences on the Holland America Westerdam. We too sailed from Fort Lauderdale for what we were anticipating to be a restful, relaxing cruise vacation. Little did we know that it would be virtually a week without hot water in our stateroom, tiny, disappointing tiny portions of food in the main dining room, and most of the cruise experienced through 'Safety Precautions' to reduce the spread of a virus. Mind you, the shops, the spa and the casino remained open, but we were forced to endure paper packets of salt and pepper, lack of self service in the Lido and rude, uncaring staff. The first three times we complained about lack of hot water, we were told that it had already been fixed. NOT!

Later, it was suggested that we could use another stateroom to shower and then return to our room.

REALLY? We have definitely learned our lesson this time. Holland America ?
