We were 6 persons. 2 grand-parents, 2 parents and 2 young adults cruising for the third time with NCL for the New Year. So so so disappointing. NCL should stick to smaller shipts as they do not know how to handle a larger one. At least 1000 persons to many...so many people everything. We named it the BREAK-A-WAIT!!! We waited and waited everywhere. For the elevators, for dinner, for breakfast, to tender, on the Island...people everywhere and not enough space inside the ship to sit and relax or read. They should know that leaving from New York, your chances to get back or cold weather requires inside options.

Cigarette smell everywhere as people are smoking in the casino and everywhere on the bridge, inside and outside near the pool area...

Food was just barely ok. We had been on NCL before and it was fine, this time it was either too salty of tasteless...boring and cold in the main dining areas. Specialty restaurants are good however do not try to have a seat if you have not reserved months in advance. This is also a ship where you incure out of pocket money at all time! Extras for this, extras for that...for entertainement, for food, for coffee, for most everything you expect to want or do on a cruise.

Cabin Review

Ok space, nothing special. No real difference between mini suites and regular balcony rooms.
