First time cruise with wife and we had a blast! Wish we would have started cruising sooner, but we will be making up for it over the next several years! We were able to stop at CocoCay, St. Thomas, and Phillipsburg. We had a blast at CocoCay and loved enjoying the beach and all the marine life we were able to see, as well as just lay out on a lounge chair and enjoy the warmth. When we were in St. Thomas we just walked through town shopping and enjoying the island, we saw several iguanas, my wife was able to see them before me every time, and several were quite large, similar in size to a medium size dog. In Phillipsburg, we had to go check out Maho Beach and watch the planes landing. We even were able to watch a 757 land! Amazing for the both of us (although my sunglasses were lost in the water).

As for the ship itself, it was almost as if we had the ship to ourselves many times, as several times we could be walking around the outside by ourselves. We went to some of the shows on the ship, but couldn't make it to all of them, as it seems there is always something going on. The shows were fun and entertaining for both of us. We really enjoyed the MDR, although we didn't do that every night as it does take some time when you dine there. The food was very good. We enjoyed the convenience of the Windjammer as well as the variety of options there as well. The food was also very good there. Sorrento's was average pizza fare for us. Loved the interior stateroom as well, as we were not in the room much anyways. Beds were comfortable, vanity was well lit for the wife to get ready, the flatscreen tv provided information about the cruise and what was going on as well as what was scheduled for later on. Room has a safe and decent closet space with some hangers. Bathroom and shower was small but served their purpose. The toilet did seem to have numerous problems with flushing (if someone else clogs the system, then others on the same "line" may have problems as well). Maintenance was quick to get things in working order but this problem happened 3 times. Our next cruise will be soon on the same ship and cruise as this one, as we loved it that much!

Cabin Review

Interior room but really enjoyed it as this was our first cruise. 2 twin beds put together and the beds were comfortable. The vanity worked well for my wife and was well lit. The closet was decent and had some hangers as well as the safe and life jackets. The bathroom and shower were small but served their purpose. Hair dryer came in handy, would definitely recommend a surge protector or something similar as power outlets are scarce. Flatscreen TV was nice, and has loads of information from your seapass account to schedules for what is going on and where, as well as schedules for the rest of the days events. The one problem we had was 3 times the toilet stopped working and maintenance had to repair. Although they were quick to repair, it is a hassle. I guess if the "system" gets clogged somehow (usually someone using too much toilet paper) it can cause other toilets in that "line" to stop functioning. Overall we were happy with our room and would not hesitate to stay in one again. It was much cheaper than a balcony, but we will be going back and try a balcony and see if it is worth the extra cost.
