This was our second cruise on the Sensation this year.....first was the 4 day cruise and this time it was the 3 day cruise. It was a nice long weekend away and for the price it was great. Used Vacations To Go and found great military rates this time. The cabin was nice....took a interior cabin to try it out. It was just as nice as an ocean view......but less money. Our cabin steward "D" was fantastic and everything we asked of him he did.....even changed all the bedding.....all the bedding.
The food was just OK....nothing fantastic. But our server, John Edinborough is always a fantastic waiter. The Lido deck dining was not great this time. The desserts weren't as good as the last cruise in September. I think they need a new pastry chef.
On the pool deck.....there were families saving dining tables all afternoon with their towels. Instead of lounge chair hogs we had dining table hogs. One table occupied by a family had 10 chairs around the table and the table next to it had none. So....they really had taken 2 tables to HOG. When asked for one of the chairs they obviously weren't using they pretended not to understand English.....not know I understood their language .....they began to call me names.....until I told them....in their language....how inconsiderate they were and I accidentally spilled my food on one of them.....too bad.
