Sail Date: Dec 2013

This was my first time cruising with Carnival since my son was a teenager, and he is now over thirty. I have been travelling with Holland America, Princess, and Oceania since, so my views are a bit jaded.

Pros: The price is great, but the other lines are worth paying more. The food was pretty good, for the money. I usually prefer sitting in the dining room for all meals and being served, but after I was given dried out eggs benedict, I went to the buffet for a freshly made omelet. The pizza was great, and you get it hot from the oven. They use flour from Naples, so it is quite authentic. The wok and burrito stations were also quite good.

The shows were mostly well done. I enjoyed the big productions, such as the magic show, and thought they were very impressive for a ship theater. The adult comedians were mostly very funny, and we enjoyed the juggler.

Cabin Review

This cabin was quiet and well maintained. Not centrally located, however.
