We had a great time on the 1/6/07 sailing of the Grandeur. We took the whole family wife, me and 3 kids 8,7,4. The kids had an adjoining room which worked out great. If you are taking kids the adjoining room is the way to go. The Grandeur had a great small town feel. We had excellent service in all aspects of the ship. We were especially impressed by the Adventure Ocean staff, Windjammer staff and the activity staff.

We went on the cruise as part of a friend's wedding so getting on the ship at the same time some folks were still leaving was a bit harried getting to the drop off point but once inside the terminal we were on the ship and in our staterooms in about 20 minutes. The staterooms were both ready although the tux I ordered was not there. After speaking with the tailor on board(who did not get the measurements apparently for anyone in the wedding party) I received the tux within about 30-45 minutes. A small glitch that really did not have anything to do with Royal Caribbean. The wedding seemed a bit rushed and the photographer really did not seem to be taking a lot of pictures nor orchestrating anything very well. Although I must mention the group shot he took after the ceremony was fantastic.

We had the second seating and had the pleasure of Ron as our waiter. He was excellent. My wife has many food allergies and we were very impressed when the head waiter came up and knew the allergies and explained the menu for us. I must mention he did this every night. The kids ate in the Windjammer each night and then we took them to Adventure Ocean. Most nights I ate twice once in the Windjammer and once in the Dining Room. The food was fantastic. The presentation was excellent especially in the Windjammer which we did not remember being so good from our last cruise. The only item that did not meet our expectations was a Reuben my wife ordered for lunch in the dining room. Otherwise we did not have a bad meal at all.
