Sail Date: Dec 2013

Prior to embarkation on December 15, 2013, on Norwegian Dawn, we read many reviews that made us feel as though we may have made a huge mistake when we chose the Norwegian Dawn. However, we had a great experience!

The cabin was a little smaller than we would have liked but nothing we couldn't deal with. The cabin was cleaned and freshen at least twice a day every day. I did not have a bad meal on the ship. The food was good. As long as we made a reservation in the restaurants, we did not have to wait. The servers were wonderful and efficient, with the exception of the last night of cruise. Then, the service was slow, but the food was good. We never had to wait for a seat at the Oasis Pool. The entertainment was typical cruise ship quality and family-friendly. At night, the ship was very quiet, so we were able to sleep peacefully.

The only complaints we have are there was no one at the excursion desk the night before a scheduled excursion was canceled, so passengers had to wait until the day of the excursion to schedule a different excursion, and the t-shirt choices were limited. These are minor issues and did not impact our vacation at all. This was my second Norwegian cruise and my boyfriend's first Norwegian cruise, and we would definitely cruise Norwegian again.
