This was my 3rd, and last Carnival cruise. When we arrived at the cabin it was dirty, with hairs in the bathroom sink and tub. My cruise planner said we would have a concierge with a suite. Onboard guest services laughed and said that was an inside Carnival joke. The balcony had rust all over it, and the furniture was weathered with stains.

The food on this cruise was terrible. I lost 12lbs on this cruise! We talked to cruisers who had been on Carnival cruises before, and they said if it was not for pizza and burgers, they would have starved. The food was tasteless, and either over or under cooked. The hostess at the Atlantic dining room did not speak English and was less than concerns about where she sat diners. On night 3, after seating us in a corner away from everyone possible, we left and went to the buffet. It's always fun to see bath robes at the buffet morning, noon and night! The temp "hot" on the buffet was non-existent, and the selections were worse than the main dining hall. Room service was slow, "hot" sandwiches were delivered cold and soggy, and orders were NEVER complete.

I am a seasoned cruiser, 3 of which have been on Carnival. Diversity? Humph! It wasn't safe at night on this cruise! The ONLY saving grace on this cruise was our room steward, Henny, who set an example for everyone else! Not only was she conscientious, she was attentive and accommodating. Carnivale is no longer a fun ship or "party" cruise. It has serious problems on all levels! They should pay me back for this cruise!
