The good: Just came back from the noted cruise. The head chef went out of his way to make us feel welcome. He personally made us some samosa when asked if available. The manager in the casino was very friendly. Our waitress in anytime dining was very friendly and made us feel welcome. The food overall was very good both in the dining room and on the .

The bad: Our cabin 5154 had ants. We mentioned it to the cleaning staff but did not seem to care. You could not leave anything around or the ants would be attracted to it.We had a obstructed balcony. We looked out all week at food that was dropped from above on the top of the life raft outside our balcony. Kind of disgusting having to look at this all week. The quality of the shows on this ship were so so. We have seen better on other cruises we have been on.

The ugly: On our last day the ship was late getting into port at Tampa due to fog. As a result many passengers missed flights home. I was very disappointed how poorly Carnival personnel handled people getting off the ship. No priority was given to people trying to catch early flights home. We occurred extra expenses as a result of poor weather and how poorly the staff handled people getting off the ship. It was a free for all. When I called Carnival I was advised I would not be compensated for additional overnite stay and extra meals that occurred. When we flew to Tampa prior to our crew we were a day late due to poor weather. The airline compensated us for meals. As large as Carnival is they should be-able to compensate people for missing flights etc.. Over and out. Will most likely look elsewhere on our next cruise.
