My wife and I sailed out of Baltimore on a back to back cruise the first to Bermuda, the second to the Bahamas. This is our 16th cruise, 8 with RCI, 5 with Princess and 3 with other. We got a cruise and go package with Fairfield Inn and Suites for $138. Its the best deal room, buffet breakfast and a safe place to leave your car for 15 days for free. The price includes everything, including a shuttle directly to the port. When we came back 15 days later someone was there with a sign, took us right back to our car.

We have been on most of RCI's ships. The Grandeur of the Seas has been totally renovated. New leather seats, rugs, flat screen tv's etc. The food was average in comparison to the other 15 ships we have been on. Much above average was ship morale and the genuine help from all crew members we encountered. The leadership to create this atmosphere clearly came from the captain. As usual we enjoyed most of the entertainment provided by RCI. Our one complaint is that RCI, on many of the ships we have been on does not heat their pools. The last time we were with RCI 2 years ago was on Adventure of The Seas in the Eastern Med. When we were in Istanbul we noticed everyone seemed to be swimming on ships by other cruise lines such as Princess. Our last 4 cruises were with Princess which is similar to RCI, but the extras are better. This was such a cheap cruise we thought we would try RCI again. As noted everything about the Grandeur of the Seas is great, but if you like to swim in the pool, you will enjoy everyone around the cold pool not in the pool.
