This was our second cruise to Alaska and it was magnificent. We did the round trip to Whittier with friends from Arizona.. Vancouver is a beautiful city and Canada Place is the crown jewel of ports. If you only do one cruise, Alaska is the one. The breathtaking mountains, glaciers and history are never forgotten.

The ship: The Coral Princess is a great ship for Alaska. It is the perfect size to see Glacier Bay and the other glaciers. The service, food, entertainment are 5 star for sure. The naturalist on board gave very educational lectures as well as narrating everyday about what wildlife to watch for along the route.

Tours: We booked the "26 Glacier Tour" online before we left and we highly recommend it. We also booked a whale watching tour in Juneau which was great. Our favorite excursion was renting a car in Ketchican for the day and driving to the Klondike. It is a great road with many pull-outs for photo ops. Be sure to stop at Emerald Lake and don't forget your passport.
