We are actually awaiting disembarkation. The last few carnival cruises have steadily gotten worse. The dining room experience this time was the worst. Because of alternative dining, passengers were coming in the entire time we were dining. Our waiter had 7 tables and the wait time for each course was ridiculous. Each night was at least 1.45. The food was not hot a single night and the menu was terrible. The warm chocolate melting cake was terrible this trip. The staff all over the ship were unfriendly with the exception of Ryan our room steward. The entertainment - horrible. Who interviews these people? The lounge singers couldn't even remember the words to their songs. The show at night repeated itself and a couple of nights there was no show. It was a game show. Really???? Nigel's karaoke was good. Everything costs a lot. Who can pay 9.00 for a drink and gratuity? Bingo at 25.00 a card for one game? I miss the days when you could afford being on board and were treated as a guest. Now you feel herded on and off. I am a platinum member but think it is time to try another line or go back to Royal. We were talked into a room with large balcony at the very back of ship. Don't do it ! The bed is under an upper berth so when you roll over or sit up you can hit your head. It is very loud and rough when moving out of ports and it rocks and rolls constantly. ALSO someone brought a little yippy dog on board. What is up with that? We were very disappointed with this cruise and out travel agent that talked me into this room. We didn't get off at the ports. There was basically nothing to do on board unless you were willing to spend money like in the spa. Wiliana, bartender in atrium lounge was very friendly. The others served you but never said thank you.

Cabin Review

Room was not what was explained by the travel agent at Carnival. We were told the balcony would have chaise lounges. It didn't. I had to basically beg for ONE lounge for my spouse who needed it for medical reasons.
