My fiancé and I spent 9 nights on board travelling to Mare, Noumea, Lifou ( my favourite island) and Isle of Pines. It is our second cruise. One lady on board had been on 48!!
Good Points: The service was impeccable and food particularly in the Waterfront restaurant first class. The Connexions Bar was great fun and P & O as usual had a wide and entertaining variety of activities to do. The cocktails were the highlight and reasonably priced ( $9.90 each generally) .
The cabin. Not biggys but still noteworthy things P & O could address are: the Pedal Bin the ensuite was too small; No A.C Powerpoints in the Internet lounge for your Laptop if the battery went flat; T.V. in Cabin very cheap and poor quality; pictures virtually unwatchable. All need replacing. Sun Loungers are never available ; well that goes for every ship I suppose. Double Ticket system for the P & O run Mare shuttle confusing. Beds were comfortable and the cabins bigger than the Dawns. We had an ocean view cabin.
