If you have cruised before you will find that the Pride of America does not have the WOW factor of other cruise ships, that said if you consider the ship as a place where you go to sleep and to have a quick meal you will enjoy the cruise. The ship is very clean, the rooms were well maintained and our steward made sure that we had clean towels every day and the room was kept tidy.

FOOD: Freestyle type of cruising. The buffet was somewhat repetitious with very little meal variation daily but everything they served was very good. The two free sit down choices were the Skyline and Liberty. Both have similar menus with daily variations. We had a bad experience at the Skyline, service was extremely slow. We had the opposite experience at the Liberty, great service. My suggestion would be to go to the Liberty and request Katie P as your server, we found her to be the best there. We made it a point to find her on the last night and give an additional tip.

ENTERTAINMENT: We attended a number of shows with "Oh What A Night," a Jersey Boys type of show, Toby Beau, music, and Bud Anderson, comedian, probably the best. We found all the shows very entertaining.
