We had 18 family members looking forward to a wonderful cruise. Unfortunately we chose the Conquest. Letting you know we have taken the Carnival Dream and that was very good. The food on the Conquest is poor. If you are looking forward to wonderful meals you will be highly disappointed. On Thanksgiving Day we were anticipating a great turkey dinner. Instead, after waiting 1 1/2 hours standing in line at the Renoir Rest. we were served lunch meat, yes I said lunch meat turkey, and no real pumpkin pie.

Our state rooms were located on the 1st level where the sewer smell was outrageous. The cabins on the even side did not have the smell in the state room but ones on odd size did as well as it was overwhelming in the hall ways. Complaints brought just a spray down on the outside. The cabin was roomy and bed comfortable. Attendants did their job nicely. Have no complaints there except for the horrendous sewer smell in the hallway and sometimes back up in the shower and alot of night noises in the hall.

Buffet was better but you were served powdered scrambled eggs unless you stood in line for omelets which were okay. Fresh food was good.
