We have cruised over 40 times, but have not cruised with Holland for about 7 years. Everything about Holland has taken a big dive. Food was just fair, dinner service was terrible ( table of 8 - we never got our main courses at the same time - always one or two people waiting for about 5 minutes or more after the others were served. We complained about this to the assistant maitre' d , who was useless.

We had a suite, which came with NO amenities, other than the size. Veranda was good size, but poor furniture. Water in bathroom - cold water taps would vary from hot to cold & back. Air conditioning in the suite was extremely hard to control.

A/C on the entire ship was inconsistent - comfortable in some areas & freezing in others. Read more
