Our family has taken many cruises on several different cruise lines and have always been happy, however this last cruise was not one we would do again. The price we paid was very high for the cabin we received, this was even after the $600 per cabin upgrade from the veranda balcony cabin we had confirmed; we had two cabins. The charge for the single cabin was the same as the double cabin…twice as much even though only one person would be taking advantage of the restaurants and ship amenities.

The evening entertainment was mediocre and the meals were nothing special. An invitation was sent to our cabin for a dinner in the Pinnacle restaurant (the cruise line charges $25 per person for this reservation). We had previously dined in this restaurant so thought we would take advantage of this gift, however at the end of the cruise they charged us on our bill $75! When we pointed the error out to customer service they quickly said it was not an error unless we could prove they had sent the invitation. The customer service manager also said he could do nothing without this proof.

We spent thousands of dollars for the two cabins, side excursions for three people not to mention the gift shop, wines at dinner, spa treatments etc. Instead of spending our last evening of the cruise enjoying ourselves, we were forced to argue with the cruise line over our bill. NEVER AGAIN!

Cabin Review

Not worth the price of the cruise. The $600 per cabin upgrade was not a good value, we would not do it again and definitely will not use the travel agent who suggested it again.
