Repositioning Cruise

Sail Date: November 2013
Destination: Southern Caribbean
Embarkation: Boston
We had not been on a 2 week cruise before so were a little anxious if we would enjoy it. We shouldn't have worried - it was brilliant, the entertainment was excellent, there was something for everyone, the entertainers came and went and there was wonderful variety including a Jersey Boys tribute, Tim Kominski a great comedian and Harry O' Flanagan, an Irish singer & comedian + many others!

We loved Ariel in the piano bar and thought the showband was second to none - we would have liked to have seen more of them.

The food was excellent - we preferred the Venetian at night but enjoyed others too.

The cruise director was fantastic, great sense of humour and pitched everything just right. The staff were all great particularly as this was around the time of the typhoon in the Philippines & many of them were of Phillipino origin - I don't know how they coped, many of them did not know if their families were alive or not - so not surprising they weren't More laughing & joking.

All the staff were helpful & friendly without being obtrusive - all in all a fantastic cruise!! Less

Cabin review:

This was a lovely cabin, I had worried about noise from the garden café above but we were never disturbed. Have been on a number of NCL cruises before but this cabin was the best, it was a convenient position - great views and nice and quiet!
