Sail Date: Nov 2013
Traveled with children

Having previously travelled only on one cruise (Disney Magic, 2012) we decided to choose RC as we heard from a variety of other more experienced cruisers that it was equally family friendly. After 9 nights we can honestly say that the staff ARE very friendly, but there are issues.

Childrens programs: a bit second rate. The staff are very nice and helpful, but almost everything takes place inside. Teen program is good but anything younger and its more of a low cost daycare than anything Else.

Food: Main dining room food is very good and staff are as well. Windjammer food also good, though a bit repetative after a few days. Dismayed to learn there was only one specialty restaurant on ship as it appeared originally that we would have a few to choose from.
