Sail Date: Nov 2013

First, let me start by saying this was my 14th cruise. I have sailed with Norwegian, Carnival and Cunard. This was my first cruise with Royal Caribbean. Cruising this time was myself (female, 41) and my mom (70).

EMBARKATION: Easy Peasy! Between getting dropped off at the ship terminal to getting on the ship, it was 25 minutes total. Easiest embarkation I’ve ever experienced. Kudo’s to the staff at the Baltimore ship terminal. It’s a well-oiled machine.

CABIN: We were in cabin 3019 (inside). I found it to be very spacious for an inside cabin. I only had a couple issues with it. First, the water pressure in the sink and toilet were horrendous. You’d flush the toilet 2-3 times and nothing. Then about 15-30 seconds later, it would flush. And the sink pressure was so minimal that you could barely brush your teeth. However, the pressure in the shower was fantastic. Second, the skirts on both our beds had large noticeable rips in them. I’m surprised housekeeping hasn’t changed them. It looked horrible. And last, the beds are not the most comfortable. I was ok with it but my mom found it to be incredible uncomfortable. Thankfully our room attendant, Maria, was kind enough to put an egg crate on it and that helped tremendously.
