We had never cruised with HAL, and did not know what to expect as Celebrity was always our 1st choice but did not have this particular itenerary. .

The ship was elegant and the service was slow compared to Celebrity, but then we learned HAL does not interfere with your privacy and allows you to relax rather than constantly interupt your peace and quiet.

Nice room, luggage fit nicely under bed. Stewards kept it neat and clean all day and nite. Soundproof and comfy wicker furniture on veranda. Desk, sofa, and coffeetable all nicely sized and appropriate for room. Close to elevators and stairs on port side, forward. Elevators/stairs not noisy at all.  Will request this room again. Read more
